Muhlbauer ID Services GmbH is recruiting a Database Administrator (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of Central system database and servers, De-centralized system database and workstations
- Upgrade database and software to new release levels
- Manage database storage structures, tablespaces, files and logs
- Manage database backups, users and licenses
- System Documentation
- Database optimization and tuning
- Service Interventions for preventive and correctional database and network related topics
- Support internal departments and customers on database and network related issues
- Training and support of customer engineers
Requisites
- Degree in the field of Applied Computer Science or Practical Experience
- Experienced knowledge on: Oracle database (deep), PostgreSQL, Database management systems, Operating systems (Microsoft and others) & IT Network
- Oracle Business Intelligence
